When we arrived at Restland we were greeted and welcomed with compassion. The staff were very supportive as we prepared for my husband’s funeral. Each phase had a staff member who specialized in giving me what we needed. I was able to communicate with Andrea and Starr when l needed to make small changes. I recommend Restland highly.

I buried both my mom and dad here. I was with both my parents when they died. They believed strongly in the lord even at the hour of their deaths. In my opinion, Restland Funeral Home did a marvelous job leading me from the fog to the grave. I did get roughed a bit but it will pass. In my opinion, the Hospice company did a fantastic job. They did a good job setting up for death to come. The big climax is death! in my opinion, the Doctors and specialist get an F. They were arrogant and showed no compassion or interest at all. The doctors only seemed interested in making a profit. MOM referred to the doctors as THE BIG NOTHING! In my opinion, the ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH gets a huge F! Its a bunch of old celibate men running around in white robs trying to pass off 13th century Canon Law. You are out of touch! This is my opinion that was the result of 7 years of experience with a my mother who passed away from ALZHEIMERS.

Mr. Steven Hill is a very professional and caring funeral director. He was extremely attentive to all our family needs before, during and after the service. Steven is the best! The Wildwood Chapel was an exceptional venue for a private service. The Restland staff was very compassionate and helpful during our time of sorrow for the loss of our loved one. Floral arrangements designed by Ashanti Thompson and provided by Rembrandt Florist were excellent. The event center used for the after service greeting for family and friends was a very comfortable location and the catered food was excellent. My uncle requested direct cremation to me and made arrangements prior the time of our grandmother's death in 1988. He purchased a burial trust at that time. He was not married/did not have children. He has a niece, me, and a nephew, my brother. He recently died and I found his paperwork/ brought it for my meeting at Restland shortly after her died. The funeral director, Steven G.Hill Jr and his apprentice Kevon Gee assisted me. Steven was so loving during this trying time. He researched using the paperwork I had and fortunately his Burial Trust paid for his direct cremation. Everything I experienced was sincere, professional and loving. Very welcoming as you expect it to be. It was wonderful from the meeting, to selection of an Urn to timely communications throughout the experience. I highly recommend this organization.

I want to say thank you to Restland for always taking care of my love ones and their resting places in our absence. My father and daughter are buried there, and if there has ever been a problem, Restland has been quick to fix it because they know how much those headstones mean to us. I never thought I would go and sit in a cemetery alone, but the upkeep around my loved ones allows me to sit there in peace and admire the beauty around me even through my sadness. I never got to thank your business either for allowing me to stay the whole time until our daughter was fully buried. I don’t think my mama heart could’ve slept if I weren’t allowed to watch and make sure she was safe where we chose to lay her to rest. Lastly, our family also truly appreciates Mr. Cory Morris for always assisting us, checking on even things that may seem minor to others but major to us, and for even taking flowers to our daughter one time on the day she went to be with Jesus. We thank you so much for your generosity and patience with us over the years.
